Bengaluru: Of the four people who died in a series accident on a good road, on Kanakapura road, at the end of Friday night, three was a software engineer and one account teacher with private institutions in the city.
Five more people traveled by other cars and MUV sustainable injuries, but the conditions were stable, police said.
The deceased came from Kerala and lived in a different house and PG accommodation in Bommanahalli.
They have been identified as Mohammed Fazil, 25, Abhilash Aravind, 25, K Shipla, 30, and Zeena, 27.
The accident occurred around 9:30 a.m.
near the KS layout, when a truck was pushed in a hurry to hit a wagon R where the victims traveled to the cengeri.
In the impact, the car crashed into another truck in front of him and his fourth at Wagon R was destroyed to death.
The police must cut the parts of the car being damaged to free the body.
Shilpa worked as a teacher with private institutions, while the other three worked as engineers in various companies in Bommanahalli and its surroundings.
The body was shifted to the Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, where autopsy was carried out on Saturday.
“Family members who died have not arrived because most of them must come from Kerala.
Apart from Zeena, we can contact colleagues and friends,” said an investigative officer.
The truck driver, who escaped after the accident, had not been traced.
Besides carts, one more car, MUV, and four container trucks were damaged in the accident.
Traffic on a good road is disturbed for more than an hour.
“It seems like the victims are heading out of town.
They have clothes packed.
But their friends or colleagues don’t know where they go,” the officer said.
