Bengaluru: Two separate cases have been registered with respect to suspicious loss of a 61-year-old goldsmith from the residence of Sampangiramanafi since June 24.
Sunil Kumar Boul, a resident of Karagappa Park, has operated a gold shop in Nagartpet for more than 30 years.
His wife Minati Boul filed a complaint of someone missing on June 24.
He stated that her husband left home at 11:30 a.m.
to work that day.
He didn’t return home and his cellphone was still turned off.
His son Sumit Bound went to the store and learned that Sunil had not been to the store that day, he added.
Meanwhile, a jewelry from Jayanagar submitted a cheating case against Boul.
Rakesh Bellur, who runs a jwalamala jewelry store in Jayanagar, accused that Boul used to make ornaments for him for the past 25 years.
“Boul collected 271.5 grams of solid gold from me between April 9 and April 21 to make a jewelry.
But he did not convey jewelry or returned gold.
He cheated me,” Alleged Bellur.
Police Jayanagar enrolled a case of cheating on Boul on July 15.
Police said two separate teams, each of them from Sampangiramanagar and Jayanagar, tried to track Boul.
