Bengaluru / Shivamogga: The results of the suspect’s hair follicle test in the case of peddling two drugs with a link to the cendana confirmed that they had consumed narcotics.
Interior Minister Araga Jnanendra said on Tuesday that samples were collected from two actresses in drug cases tested positively in the center of the Central Science Laboratory (CFSL), Hyderabad.
Officials from Central Crime Branch (CCB) recently received a report of around 12 people accused and handed over the same thing before the court.
Kamal Pant, Police Commissioner Bengaluru, the CCB police said, who investigated a registered case in September last year, has sent a sample of hair follicles to CFSL and the report comes recently.
These reports will help prosecution prove alleged violations committed by the suspects, he added.

According to sources, reports related to 12 people accused have reached the city police.
The police sent a suspect sample in connection with three cases registered in Cottonpet and Banaswadi in 2020.
They received reports relating to both actresses on August 13 and August 10.
Speaking to reporters in Shivamogga, Jnanendra said the actress was arrested and interrogated by police in drug cases and samples were collected from them and sent to Hyderabad Lab.
The sample has been tested positively, he said, adding Karnataka police now has strong evidence of the defendant.
