Bengaluru: The family of a brain tumor patient who panicked after his ambulance tire became flat near the cid junction on Jalan Palace on Tuesday sighed as a breath of relief as the police played.
In the midst of a futile effort by the family to regulate an alternative ambulance to shift the patient, the police helped the ambulance driver change tires.
The patient was sent to the hospital struggling before another ambulance arrived.

BR Ravikanthe Gowda, Commissioner with police (traffic), and other senior police appreciate Kallur for his humanitarian actions.
Gowda gave a reward letter to the police in his office.
