Bengaluru: 42-year-old Civil Contractor from Kadiri, Andhra Pradesh, alleged that three people cheated him Rs 76 lakh after promising to make it a recent business loan.
G Venkatesh told the police that he knew about Beacon Trading and Investment Company with his office in the Sector 7 HSR layout.
He visited the office, where he met Trio on July 31.
They introduced ourselves as John Abraham, Deputy Chair; Rakesh Sharma, Chair and Mohammed.
They convinced Venkatesh that they would get some crores rupees as a loan against a piece of property he had.
They demanded Venkatesh pay them Rs 76 Lakh as a progress of interest in loans.
Police HSR layout has registered a case.
