Chandigarh: The State Corner Bureau Team (SVB), Haryana on Monday arrested two police officers in red hand while accepting RS bribes.
2 lakh and Rs 4,000 respectively.
Both officials have been ordered under the prevention of corruption laws.
Share further detail in this case, a spokesman for the Bureau said that the first case was related to the Sirsa District, where the SVB team had captured Sub Inspector (SI) Ajay Kumar, Incharge Cia, Dabwali while accepting RS 2 Lakh bribes from the Sukhbir Singh Resident’s complainant SECTOR-20, SANSA.
A spokesman said that Sukhbir Singh who complained was approaching the bureau that was alleged that his father was around 75 years old experiencing a 10-year imprisonment under the law of NDPS and was traveling.
He could not return to prison in time due to Covid-19 disease and pandemic, thus, a case under the Parole Law was registered against him.
The word CIA Incharge demanded RS bribery.

He said the CIA Incharge also threatened them that if the request was not fulfilled, he would also arrest family members for giving protection to the defendant, a spokesman said.
A spokesman said that the complainant further told that the CIA Incharge continued to demand bribes through the cellphone and he had recorded all of these calls and then the complainant had asked SVB to take legal action against the CIA Incharge Ajay Kumar.
The alertness bureau immediately acts on complaints and cases under Section 7 PC Law has been registered at the SVB Police Station, Aperar.
