Bengaluru: The day after the Karnataka government issued orders in accordance with the cabinet rating and the related allowance to him, former BS Yediyurappa minister’s chairman on Sunday rejected the offer and urged CM to “only extended the benefit given to the minister of the past”.
Yediyurappa, in a letter, requested the CM Basavaraj Bommai to withdraw the order gave him a cabinet rating until the end of the bommai term as the main minister.
The source said the facilities offered include facilities, vehicles, and staff, but were reported to help Yediyurappa keep the Bungalow Cauvery, the residence of a serving minister.

The source said the Yediyurappa step to reject the offer of a government cabinet rating was to prevent criticism from opposition parties.
Siddaramaiiah, like the former main minister, continued to live in Cauvery during the JD coalition regime (s), while the bungalow was given to the KJ George Industry Minister.
HD Kumaraswamy, because CM, has chosen to work from a hotel, which he faces criticism.
