Bengaluru: The end of the month of speculation on leadership changes in Karnataka, Chairman of the BS Minister Yediyurappa on Monday announced his resignation in an emotional speech during the incident to commemorate his two-year government in the state.
The Governor of Thaawarchand Gehlot accepted Yediyurappa’s resignation and asked him to continue as the head of the Kareter Solester until the next cm was sworn in far married to BSY up in the southern state.
The hour after he resigned, the behest of BJP High announced the observer team led by the Minister of Education Union Dharmendra Pradhan to go to Bengaluru who would oversee the meeting of the legislative party to elect the minister of the next chairman.

“The BJP parliamentary council will decide on the next cm on Tuesday and then will be announced at the Legislative Party meeting,” National Secretary General of BJP and Karnataka in Charge Arun Singh said in Delhi.
Nothing presses me to resign: Yediyurappit is not yet known who will succeed in the veteran leader of lingayat with a number of names that do the round and most of the senior party leadership in the state throws their hats into the ring.
Choosing the successor will be a test as a Mutt influential linglayat has protested BSY’s resignation, and the community is the key to the strength of the BJP selection in the state.
But the BJP High command seems to have managed to operate Yediyurappa’s support for his replacement and saved the possibility of a former CM playing Spoilsport by surging on the sidelines.
Toi has reported a change of guards who will come in the edist on July 18.
Speculation is that the names of the community of lingayat and non-lingayats that have a strong hindutva tendency are being considered.
Among Lingayats, Basanagouda Patil Yatnal, Arvind Bellad and Basavaraj Bommai are being mentioned; BL Santosh, Visveshwara Hedge Kageri and CT Ravi are a few other names that do a round.
Yediyurappa said, “Nobody presses me to resign.
I do it yourself so that other people can take over as cm after completion of two years of government.
I will work to bring BJP back in power in the next election.
I have not given anyone’s name to Replacing me.
“He also assured that he and his supporters would give them 100% to anyone who was the next minister’s head.
