Bengaluru: Gaurab Das, a school student e-Techno Narayana in Sahakar Nagar, has secured 100 percent in the jee (main) examination – 2021 as a whole.
Gaurab Das has secured a 99.85 percentile in his first attempt, 99.96 percentiles in the second attempt and received 100 percentiles in his third effort.
Gaurab is the only student from the state to score 100 NTA in the exam.
Jee played four times this year.
Eighteen students have pocketed No.1 in between 44 which scored 100 percent in four cycles.
Gaurab has joined computer engineering at Purdue University, USA.
However, he said he would fly to India in October to write sophisticated paper.
“I was ready for two years for Jee.
Jee Advanced always focused for two years.
I want to write continued because it will give me a sense of satisfaction.
However, I’m not sure how well I will do or whether I will join IIT if I solve it .
This will depend on many factors such as OCI rules and whether I like the university here, “he told Toi.
Gaurab, who was a student of DPS Bangalore North until grade 10, moved to the US with his twin mother and sister in August to join his father who worked there.
“I like the class here.
The presentation is good.
I interact with Garry Kasporav, Chess Grandmaster, on Wednesday,” he said.
