Zirakpur: Unknown weakening stole two batteries from a parked car in Lohgarh, Zirakpur, early on Saturday, the second theft in the area in two weeks.
N D Goswami, a resident of Sharma Estate, has parked Maruti Alto’s car outside his home.
Around 4 in the morning on Saturday, he found the hood of his car opened and the battery lost.
Then, he knew about the same theft of Maruti Alto’s car nearby.
He told his brother B n Goswami.
He said the criminals had stolen the battery two weeks ago too.
Unfortunately Verma, another resident, said about two weeks back, he had parked the Hyundai I-20 car in the same place at night and the next morning found the window panel crashing into.
Nothing was stolen but since then he changed the parking lot.
