Bengaluru: Dakshina District Kannada, bordering Kerala, continues to the Covid-19 Daily cases in Karnataka, because the country reported 1,826 new cases and 33 deaths, with total infection to 39.22,875 and the death toll of 36,881, namely the Ministry of Health said on Wednesday.
That day also saw 1,618 release, taking the total number of recovery in the state to 28.63,117.
With 422 new cases, Dakshina Kannada exceeds the number of capitals from Bengaluru Urban who reported 377 cases today.
On Tuesday, Dakshina Kannada recorded a 378 highs of everyday case, while in Bengaluru Urban it was 315.
The active case now reached 22,851.
While the level of participation for the day was at 1.09 percent, the case mortality rate (CFR) was at 1.80 percent.
Of the 33 deaths reported today, 5 came from Bengaluru Urban and Dakshina Kannada; Beleagavi, Hassan, Kolar and MySuru (3), Chitradurga, Kodagu, Mandya and Uttara Kannada (2), followed by others.
Hassan recorded 175 fresh cases, Udupi 130, Mysuru 118, followed by others.
Bengaluru Urban District Peak the list of positive cases, with a total of 12,31,474, followed by Mysuru 1.74.199 and Tumakuru 1,18,431.
