Chandigarh: Minister of Punjab Minister Charanjit Singh Channi might claim that the state treasure was not empty, but a catering had knocked on the door of the Punjab and Haryana High Court who claimed that the payment of his RS has not been released by the state government provided at a cabinet meeting in Batala two years ago.
Justice Raj Mohan Singh directed the government to release funds within two weeks to Caterers R K Kater Amritsar if the applicant’s claim was found original and remove the petition.
R Katerer Kater has provided services at the cabinet meeting held on October 24, 2019, in Batala under the leadership then Chief Minister Amarinder Singh.
However, payment for the service has not been made.
The advice for the applicant proposed that the quote was invited by the State Authority for the Cabinet meeting would be held on October 24, 2019.
The quote submitted by the applicant was approved on October 21, 2019, and after that, he provided catering services on that date.
Repair and submit an Invoice of Rs 4,20,000, including GST to the State Authority.
Sanction Sanction Letter of a minded authority on April 27, 2020, approved the Bill of Rs 3.99 Lakh by opposing the total number of 4.20 lakh rs submitted by the applicant against the real expenditure released by him.
The number of sanctions is not released even though there is a legal notice even the amount approved by Rs 3.99 Lakh has not been released to the applicant despite the legal request / notification on January 15, 2021, which is issued to the authorities.
In his request before HC, the applicant also claimed that there was no shortage in the service provided.
After hearing the request, justice Raj Mohan Singh ordered the disposal of the petition with the direction for the State Authority to decide on the legal notice on January 15, 2021, from the applicant in accordance with the best law in the period of time.
“If the applicant is found entitled to the number approved by Rs 3, 99,000, the same thing must be paid to him within the next two weeks,” the HC command.
