The index and dashboard are the result of the collaboration of Niti Aayog-Giz and BMZ which focuses on driving localization of SDG in cities, under the umbrella of cooperation in Indo-Germany.
Shimla sustained the index, followed by Coimbatore and Chandigarh.
Urban Index and dashboards occupy 56 urban areas in 77 sdg indicators in 46 targets for the SDG framework.
