Chandigarh: A taxi driver accused him of being stabbed and robbed his car on Jalan Khuda Ali Sher-sacketri on Saturday midnight.
Rajat Mehta, a resident of sector 86, Mohali, reported a woman and a man in his 20s rented his taking from ISBT, Sector 43, to Kansal at around 12:30 a.m.
“When we reached near Paul Farm on the road to the sacketry, the man put the desired weapon on my neck and forced me to stop.
He attacked me on my neck and hand.
Both of them drove by car and my Maruti 800 cellphone,” Alleged Mehta.
With the help of a pedestrian, Mehta told the police.
He said his car was wearing a temporary registration number plate.
When putting his cellphone on supervision, the police found his last location near Dharampur at Himachal Pradesh.
The police team was sent to various parts of Himachal to arrest the defendant.
The police registered the case below Section 392 (robbery) IPC and ARM opposed unknown people.
After treatment on Sundays, those who were injured were sent home from the hospital.
Taxi Stolena Cab was allegedly stolen from a taxi standing on the bus standing in sector 17 on Friday night.
