Bengaluru: A 33-year-old man, who disguised as a relative of the royal family who worked for Microsoft, had been arrested here for allegedly deceiving a large number of brides, police said on Monday.
According to the police, Siddharth K, dropout, owned by Mysuru, would speak smoothly in American and Spanish English to women who were looking for alliances through the Matrimonial website.
He will approach women by introducing himself as Urs Siddharth, Royal Mysuru’s family relatives work for Microsoft’s company, the police said.
After winning their beliefs, he will extract money from women with a pretext or another, they said.
After complaints from some of them, he was arrested and sent in high-end telephone police custody, iPhone, and six debit cards confiscated from him, police said.
