Hisar: The police presented the closing report at the Judicial Judge of Judicial Chief Shifa on Thursday, in an effort to kill the registered case against 350 farmers after clashing violence between farmers and police Haryana in Hisar on May 16.
The court received the closing report after Virender Kumar’s complainant inspector revealed his satisfaction.
Deputy Inspector General of Balwan Police Singh Rana said, “The court has received police reports and this case is now closed.” Clashes have occurred during protests against the visit of Minister of Manohar Lal Khattar’s chairman to inaugurate the Covid Care Hospital while 500 beds.
There was throwing stones from both sides even when police fired tear gas shells and forced lathicharge.
Many police personnel, including a police deputy supervisor, and farmers were injured in clashes of violence.
The Urban Estate police station has registered a case against 350 farmers under various parts, including 307 (efforts to rape), from the Indian punishment code and keep it.
The police have even demanded 42 farmers.
After Gurnam’s agricultural leader Singh Charuni led a Dharna outside the IG office, the police had released farmers arrested.
Then, when farmers knew FIR under 307 IPC, thousands had gathered in Taman Krantiman in Hisar on May 24 to the Gherao Mini Secretariat and officials had promised to fire this case in a month.
However, when the case was not withdrawn, SKM met the district administration on June 28 and July 1, but failed to get a satisfying reply.
On July 9, the leaders of farmers from Delhi met with administrative officials and warned to launch the movement from Delhi if the case was not dismissed on July 24.
