Bengaluru: Karnataka CM Basavaraj S Bommai is very sad after learning about death before the time of the famous actor Puneep Rajkumar.
Taking to Twitter, Bommai pays a sincere tribute to Puneeth, saying him “is the most loved superstar”.
“Surprised and very sad when the superstar that is most loved by Karnataka #Puneetrajkumar is no longer with us.
A big personal loss and one that is difficult to obtain with the requirements,” he wrote.
Puneph Rajkumar died on Friday after suffering a heart attack.
He was treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru.
The son of Matinee Idol Rajkumar, Puneeth called ‘APPU’ by his fans.
He began his career as a child artist with his father in the early 80s.
‘Raam’, ‘Hudugaru’, and ‘Anjani Putra’ are some unforgettable films.
He was last seen in ‘Yuvarathnaa’, which was released earlier this year.
