Shimla: Following a threat call made by Sikhs for Justice for Justice (SFJ) Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, Police Himachal Pradesh has increased the security categorization of the Minister of Chief Justice Jai Ram, BJP National President JP Nadda and the Thakur Union Minister to the next higher level from existing ones.
On Friday morning, many journalists received record calls from various numbers where the message was given to the Himachal government, claiming that on August 15, they would not allow Thakur to lift the national flag.
Further message says that Himachal Pradesh is part of Punjab and they are looking for a referendum in Punjab and once they release Punjab, they will ensure that they take over the Himachal area which is part of Punjab.
Through messages, farmers and pro-Khalistani Sikh were urged to come out and bring their tractors to stop Thakur from lifting tricolor.
Reacting to this phone message from Khalistan supporters, Thakur said he would stretch the tricolor anytime and wherever he would get the chance to do it.
He said he would see this problem and discuss the problem with security agents.
He said he didn’t care and disturbed many messages like that.
Himachal DGP Sanjay Kundu said the police took all the necessary steps in this matter and had shared information through channels that fit the center and country.
He said the head of the intelligence agent based in Shimla had been told.
He said a strict vehicle thesis at the state border entry point was confirmed.
He said the security categorization of the minister of chairman of Jai Ram Thakur, the National President of BJP and Rajya Sabha MP J P Nadda and the Union Minister Thakur had been enhanced to the next higher level.
“We have also asked the Indian government to do the same thing,” he added.
He said cyber cells from Himachal Pradesh also saw this problem.
