Guwahati: Head of Minister of Himanta Buswa Sarma asked the Ministry of Education on Wednesday to combine government elementary schools to check out school during the transition from Middle English (ME).
CM directs that all LP and Me schools in the area must be combined.
“Infrastructure development will be taken to merge with the necessary budget allocation,” Sarma said.

Sarma also directed the authorities concerned to accelerate the steps to combine the secondary education council, Assam (SEMA) and Assam High School Board (AHSEC) next year.
While Seba has conducted a class X State Board exam, AHSEC is entrusted with the task of conducting the State State Class XII Examination.
He also directed that the steps were taken to care for the elementary and secondary education directorate into one single directorate of school education for the smooth function of the basic and secondary education system in the state.
Furthermore, cm instructed officials to establish a portal to identify postgraduate teachers in high school and elementary school, where the teachers could register.
Sarma also emphasizes the need to improve post-graduation as the minimum qualification for the recruitment of high school and high school teachers in the future.
As a step to implementing national education policies 2020, a higher secondary class (class XI and XII) will be silenced from the earliest universities.
Sarma is directed at converting 1,000 high school to high school in the first phase to accommodate more class XI and XII students.
CM asks the Public Works Department (PWD) to immediately send estimates of 1,162 proposed cluster hostels so that the hostel can be built earlier for the benefit of students in remote areas.
Various problems are discussed at the meeting, where cm urges the department to accelerate school models settings, verify the certificate of all suspicious degree holders, filling empty posts, making new posts, getting NAAC accreditation and accelerating the construction work of new women and colleges law.
Education Minister Ranoj Pegu, CM Political Secretary Jayanta Malla Barua, Educational Advisor State Government Nani Gopal Mahanta, Kalyan Chakravarty’s Main Secretary and Special Commissioner Preetom Securities Department also attended the meeting.
