Bengaluru: The Bullock-cart protest was held by the Congress to oppose the increase in the price of fuel and the corner of the BJP government threw city traffic from the teeth on Monday.
Opposition leader Siddaramaiiah and Head of KPCC DK Shivakumar departed with a bull train from their respective homes at Kumara Park and Sadashivanagar leading two legislators.
Congress officials and supporters followed him in the procession until Vidhana Soudha.
The procession that saw five bull trains departed from Shivakumar’s house and five from the movement of the affected Siddaramaiiah vehicle in Ballari Road.

Somashekar and BJP MLA MP Renukacacharya was among those who were stranded and arrived late in the Assembly Hall, while the house gathered at 11 am.

Siddaramai asked the BJP leaders to compare prices when Manmohan Singh is the prime minister with the current level, by saying customs in Diesel is Rs 3.45 per liter during the upa regime and now.
He said the gasoline is Rs 9.21 and Rs 32.98 now.
Calling the Coppocket government, Shivakumar demanded the price of LPG, gasoline and diesel to be lowered at least by Rs 150, Rs 35 and Rs 25, respectively.
The police stopped the leaders of Congress at the West Gate Vidhana Soudha and let them enter with a bull train after the heated argument.
Chaos even saw several Congress legislators, including Ajay Singh, fell from the Bullock train.
Ryots 5,000 farmers’ livestock protests held a sit-in at Sheshadri Road when they were stopped by the police took a march to Vidhana Soudha to protest agricultural law.
Under the Aegis Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha and Hasiru Senene, they launched a parade from the KSR Bengaluru City Railway Station.
