Patiala: A police officer in Punjab’s Patiala was injured after being hit by a car stopped during the examination was carried out in front of independence day.
The driver of the car has hit the police in an effort to escape from the place.
COP was dragged by a car up to several meters and the incident was recorded on the camera by pedestrians.
An incident video also became a viral on social media sites within a few hours after the incident dragged near Leela Bhawan Chowk in Patiala.
The police said that the defendant drove a quick wish car that had a Haryana registration number.
The police said that the police were identified as Suba Singh, a sub-inspector’s assistant in Patiala, received his left leg of cracks in the incident and immediately rushed to the nearest private hospital where he was undergoing treatment.
DSP Patiala, Hemant Kumar, said, “hunting for the NAB accused when the number of cars has been traced.”
