Chandigarh / Shimla: With Karnal appeared as a new hotspot, Haryana on Saturday reported 23 new cases and 27 recovery during the day.
No deaths reported while more than 1.42 lakh people got a vaccine jab.
Meanwhile, in Punjab, a total of 28 fresh cases emerged and one person died on Saturday.
Himachal Pradesh reported a Covid-19 death and 39 positive cases on Saturday, while 64 positive patients had also recovered.
The state has 2,28,266 positive cases confirmed from where 510 active cases, 2,23,890 patients have recovered while 3,849 patients have died.
The highest in Haryana, 11 cases, reported from Gurgaon, was attended by five cases from Karnal and four of Panchkula.
Two of the four reported from Panchkula said to be underage children – a 17-year-old boy and a 16 year old girl.
Two cases were reported from Faridabad while one case was reported from the Rohtak district.
Panchkula also reported one death.
But it hasn’t been added to the state bulletin.
Eight districts – Hisar, Sonipat, Mahendergarh, Jind, Jhajjar, Fatehabad, Charchi Dadri and Noah – have maintained Covid-free tags.
In Punjab, five cases each appeared in Ludhiana, Pathali and Mohali, three of each in Hoshiarpur and Jalandhar, two of each in Amritsar and Patiala, and each in Barnala, Bathinda and Muktsar.
Only 72,167 individuals were given a vaccine dose, where 15,647 receivers received the first dose and 56,520 received a second dose.
Positive cases reported from Himachal include five of Bilalaspur Regency, four of Hamirpur Regency, 11 of Kangra Regency, six of the district bath, seven of Shimla Regency, one from Solan Regency and Lima from Una Regency.
Those who recovered included three of Bilalaspur District, two of Chamba, two from Hamirpur, 16 of Kangra, three of the times, four of the baths, 12 of Solan and 12 of Una.
In Haryana, the cumulative number has reached 7,72,164 cases, 7.61,877 recovery, 10,061 deaths and 203 active cases.
On the vaccination front, from 1,42,658 JAB vaccines today, the first dose was given to 27,601 people while the second dose was given to 1,15,057 people.
The cumulative coverage of Covid-19 vaccination countries have risen to 3,11,33,826.
