Covid case falls into one digit in Tricity

Mohali-Panchkula: The count of positive cases in Mohali and Panchkula are reduced to one digit.
The number of active cases is also reduced.
Mohali reported six positive cases while Panchkula reported only two on Friday.
There were no deaths reported in Panchkula while Mohali saw a patient giving up on the deadly virus.
Together, the two cities reported eight positive cases and 41 recovery.
A total of 21 people recovered at Mohali while 20 did it in Panchkula.
The level of participants in Panchkula is the lowest in Tricity of 0.50% followed by Mohali with 1.27%.
The active case dropped 15 cases to be recorded at 135 a day from 150 a day before.
Recovery increased slightly to 98.25% in a day.
Mohali Urban and Kharar each saw two cases, while one case each emerged from Dhakoli and Gharuan, said health officials.
There were no cases reported from Derabassi, Lalru, Kurni, Boothgarh, Banur, Nayagaon, Mullanpur and Zirakpur.

Adarshpal Kaur said for the past six days, only one person died of Covid-19 in this district.
He warned people of any self-satisfaction and urged them to follow Covid norms strictly.
The health department official said at this time, 68,359 positive cases had been reported in the district where 67,170 had recovered and 135 active cases.
Total deaths in the district stand at 1.054.
In Panchkula, two Covid cases were reported on Friday and no one died from the virus, said the civil representative of the Surgeon Dr.
Mercury.
