Chandigarh / Shimla: Although a little swimming in new cases, Covid continues to take victims in the region, with Punjab and Himachal report 22 and 11 of their respective deaths.
Haryana also reported nine deaths related to Covid, with 1,544 new cases.
Punjab recorded 777 new covid positive cases on Sundays, and 17,436 patients had died across the country until now.
The state has a total of 10,351 Covid active cases on Sundays, and the level of its peposititivity is 2.68%.
As many as 2,25,488 people were vaccinated on the day at which 1,03,929 got the first dose and 1.21,559 got a second vaccine shot.
As many as 11,871 people were also given a preventive dose.
On the other hand, Haryana on Sunday reported 1,544 new cases, nine deaths and 2,995 recovery.
Vaccination was also reported to be on the bottom side because only 30,355 were given Jab.
The Hill State of Himachal Pradesh reported 11 Covid-19 deaths and 376 positive cases on Sundays, while 722 positive patients had also recovered.
