Mohali: Mohali and Panchkula have registered one Covid death respectively after two weeks and 18 days on Friday.
While Panchkula only saw a positive case, Mohali recorded five.
Mohali saw seven recovery, and in Panchkula, three patients managed to defeat the deadly virus.
Panchkula’s lift levels are the lowest in three at 0.09% followed by 1.13% in Mohali.
In Mohali, active cases fell to 36 of 39 and recovery slightly increased to 98.35% in a day.
One case was reported from Mohali Urban, Dhakoli, Boothgarh, Kharar, and Banur, said health officials.
Mohali Civil Surgeon Dr.
Adarshpal Kaur said positive cases were reducing.
He said, “This does not mean that people must be careless and start roaming for no reason.
People may not oppose wear masks and maintain social distance.
Preventive measures have not been brought in order to strike a pandemic again.” The district has a total of 68,422 cases, where 67,329 has recovered and 36 active cases.
The total death in this district is 1,057.
Panchkula head Dr.
Mukta Kumar said the number of positive cases dropped to one.
The recovery rate has increased substantially to 98.74% in Panchkula.
Active cases have dropped to 9 out of 13 in a week.
The total case is 30,635 where 30,250 has defeated the virus.
The toll of death is 376.
In Chandigarh, one person tested positively on Friday and two patients were repatriated.
The recovery count is now 61,075.
The confirmed case was 61,917, including 809 deaths.
Active cases are 33.
PGI appears with a booklet at home, a picture booklet “Covid and Home Based Care: Beat Waves” has been published by PGI to notify people about home-based care in Covid cases.
Dr.
Vinod K Paul, Member, Health, Niti Aayog, has written a form of home care booklet.
He said that pictorial booklets provide guidance on house isolation and provide instructions for caregivers and patients.
