Amritsar: Asked about Spurt in the construction work and inauguration of the husband of Navjot Singh Singh Amritsar East Assembly Sidhu, Navjot Kaur Sidhu on Saturday said that his husband had given Rs 100 Crore to each assembly constituency at Amritsar when he took over as the local minister of body.
“The money is still lying, but the tender is ongoing.
Development work is not jammed in the electoral area even for one day,” he said.
Reacting to the All Party meeting organized by Charanjit Minister Singh Channi to discuss the extension of the security border (BSF) jurisdiction, Kaur said he had held a long discussion with legal experts and believed that BSF’s jurisdiction could not be extended unless there was civil condition like war.
“There is a Supreme Court’s decision in this matter and therefore BSF must return to his previous jurisdiction,” he said.
