Ellenabad Bypoll: More votes for Abhay Chautala but victory margin waterfalls
Written by news2in

Chandigarh: While India National Lok Dal leader Abhay Singh Chautala has claimed that the results of the ellenabad Bypoll will be a referendum for farmers’ protest and contested all elections on this issue, the final result on Tuesday hints that he has failed to convert this problem into an assessment.
Despite the fact that he has resigned as MLA to extend solidarity with farmers protesting the Delhi border against three Livestock Center laws, the victory margin fell from around 12,000 people in October 2019 assembly selection for 6375 people now.
Even appeal by senior leader Sanyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) Rakesh Tikait, which implies that farmers must choose Abhay at Bypoll, can’t help him much.
While Inld was looking for a party’s resurrection and hoping a landslide victory on farmers’ problems, the narrow margin of victory was not a very promising sign for the party.
With Abhay’s victory, Innd has one MLA in the 90-member Assembly.
Although Ellenabad’s chair has a significant presence of rural voters who are mostly in agriculture, the results of the interlocuted election that seem to indicate that there is no deep impact on farmer agitation in Bagri belt Haryana.
The gap of the villages has also been highlighted as Abhay trailing in all kiosks in the urban area of the assembly segment.
Speaking with Toi, Abhay claimed that if BJP was not involved in corruption practices, his victory margin would be more than 20,000 people.
He gave credit for his victory to agitation farmers, claiming that because of his support for farmers because he managed to get more votes than the previous election.
The Inld victory also highlighted that the party patriarch and former Minister O P Chautala still had charisma to influence people at home and people from the constituents who had been accepted by Abhay as their political heir.
As far as the number of people concerned, Abhay surveyed 65,992 people compared to 57,055 people in 2019 elections.
The result also signaled the refusal of the JJP-BJP alliance by people.
The coalition once again failed in the litmus test by the second bypoll loss.
Previously, the coalition partner had been contested from Baroda assembly seats together but lost.
All state governments, including the Minister and MLAS from the powerful coalition, supported by government machinery, cannot secure victory for BJP candidates.
Ellenabad results will not have an impact on numbers in the assembly state, such as seats have been detained by INLD.
No Pro-position Factor: Even the pro-position of Manohar Lal Khattar does not work even when he has been looking for people with instant development reasons to be in power.
BJP has made several promises to change constituents with the type of development that Ellenabad people have never seen in the past three decades.
Even JJP leader Ajay Singh Chautala and his son and Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala, who had been looking for people in the name of former Deputy Prime Minister Devi Lal for BJP candidates, failed to impress voters.
BJP-JJP Alliance gets more votes too: In the previous assembly poll in October 2019 when both BJP and JJP have been contested separately, BJP has secured 45,133 people and JJP candidates have secured 6569 people.
If the previous person with both of them was calculated together, they had secured 51,702 people.
However, this time, the candidate with Govind Kanda received 59,253 people, which was a better performance.
Such performance, however, is assumed to be more important when BJP and JJP leaders are seen struggling to visit people in the villages under fear of the reaction from farmers on the issue of three agricultural laws of the Center.
21,000 votes for Cong Nominee: The results of Congress candidates in Ellenabad SELA elections have also made it clear that candidates for the party, Beniwal Pawan, lost their deposits due to conflict.
Opposition leader and former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda did not spend a lot of time campaigns for Beniwal, who was given a party ticket on the recommendation of the Congress of President Kumari Selja.
Hooda made a guest appearance in the assembly constituency and the entire campaign of polls in Ellenabad was led by floors.
Apart from Hooda, several other Dividerers of the Haryana Congress leader were also missing in Ellenabad.
This favorite Hooda, Bharat Singh Beniwal, who has managed to score around 35,000 people in the previous Assembly poll, rejected the current ticket.
Even Bharat Singh is not seen during the campaign because of ‘health reasons’.
This time, Congress candidates can get only 20,904 people.
