Chandigarh: Minister of Chief Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday accused the Government of Congress in Punjab triggering unrest of farmers in his country, provoking the sharp response from his Punjab partner.
Exchanges took place two days after farmers protested the law enacted in the middle of a few months back clashed with Haryana police in Karnal.
Overcoming a press conference on the settlement of 2,500 government days led by BJP in Haryana, Khattar blamed Punjab for farmers to choose their protests.
“There is a clear hand from the punjab government in it,” cm is charged.
The Chairperson of the Punjab Minister Amarinder Singh returned a little later, accusing BJP, including Haryana CM, took refuge from “Hammer Lies” for “terrible attacks” on farmers who protested.
“Revoking the agricultural law instead of blaming punjab for chaos, your party has placed the agricultural sector,” Singh said in a statement.
Also on Monday, a “moiskachayat” in Gharunda in Karnal issued “ultimatum” to the government Haryana.
The meeting demanded the registration of cases on September 6 against those responsible for the accusation of Lathi Saturday.
If not, on September 7, farmers will surround the Secretariat in Karnal, a agricultural leader warn.

He accused Khattar to defend “criminal attacks” to farmers and warned that BJP would pay “sin” in the upcoming assembly elections in various countries.
Given that farmers have protested throughout Punjab for two months before shifting to focus on the Delhi border, CM said there was no violence in the state.
“Even recently, when sugar cane farmers protested, we negotiate with them and solve problems instead of using Brute Force to try and subdue them,” he added.
Responding to Khattar’s statement that farmers gave Amarinder Singh ‘Ladoos’ after the resolution of sugar cane problems, Punjab CM said, “you revoke agricultural laws and not just farmers but even I will share Ladoo with you.”
