Shimla: In the expansion of the Union Cabinet on Wednesday, the State Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs, Anurag Singh Thakur took an oath as a minister of cabinet.
Previously, Shanta Kumar, Virbhadra Singh, Anand Sharma and JP Nadda he was the fifth leader of the state to hold a cabinet rank.
The leader of the Veteran Congress Sukh RAM has held an Union State Minister’s portfolio for telecommunications (independent charge).
Senior Congress leader Chandresh Kumari from Kangra Kangra was also appointed as the Cabinet Minister during the upa regime on October 28, 2012 but he had won for the second term of the Jodhpur parliamentary constituency.
The promotion of the Thakur Anurag as the cabinet minister has left supporters of dhumal who are happy in the state.
They feel that the hard work of Thakur’s anurag especially during the Covid-19 pandemic has confirmed the promotion in expansion.
The Chairman of the Minister of Jai Ram Thakur was the first to congratulate the Thakur Anurag at its height as a cabinet minister.
While interacting with media people at Shimla on Wednesday, Jai Ram Thakur said that it was a proud moment for small circumstances such as Himachal Pradesh like under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Himachal Pradesh had been prominent in organizations and the government.
“The rank of the cabinet for Anurag Thakur is an honor for our country and I congratulate Bhai Anurag Thakur for this in the name of Himachal Pradesh,” he added.
Anurag Thakur is a member of 4 parliamentary (Lok Sabha) of the Himachal Pradesh Hamirpur parliamentary constituency.
In parliament he has served as Chair of the Standing Parliament and Members of the Public Account Committee.
During the 16th Sabha, he was appointed as the head of the head, Lok Sabha, became the youngest to assume the post.
In that year 2016, he was assigned as a regular officer in the territorial army as Lieutenant Regiment 124 Sikh, thus a BJP member who served the first parliament to join as a regular officer.
He is the former National President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha and has become the only national president appointed for three consecutive terms at BJP.

Anurag Thakur also serves as president at the control council for Cricket in India (BCCI), the cricket association of President Himachal Pradesh (HPCA) and continues to function as President of Himachal Pradesh Olympic Association, President of Hockey Himachal, Table Tennis Association of President Himachal Pradesh and Hockey Vice President Association India.
