Bengaluru: In a disturbing incident, five people from the family, including a nine-month boy, was found dead in a house at the police limit byadarahalli in Bengaluru on Friday night.
The four adults were found depending on the ceiling, while the 9-month-old child was found dead in bed.
A two and half-year-old girl was saved from home, which had shifted to the hospital.
The deceased was identified as Bharathi (51), a resident of Tigalarapalya and the wife of a journalist, her daughter Sinchana (34), Sindhousa (34), her son Madhusagar (25), along with a baby boy who had not been named.
DCP (West) Sanjeev M.
Patil said the incident was revealed after the journalist, Hulagere Shankar, returned home after four days just to find that the door of the house was not open.
After he told the police, the house door was broken.
When entering the house, the police found bodies unraveled.
Family members allegedly committed suicide after closing all the windows and door of the house.
Shankar called them since the last three days, but all the calls were missed.
“The police are looking for suicide notes or other evidence of the house.
We also try to find out how the neighbors do not know the incident even after three times four days,” Patil said.
Allegedly some family disputes lead to tragic incidents.
However, the cause must have not been confirmed and further investigation lights up, police said.
