Shimla: At least nine people died and eight others were lost due to flash floods at Himachal Pradesh in the last two days.
142 Roads are blocked in the state, according to the data provided by the State Revenue Department and the State Disaster Management Authority on Tuesday.
The yellow warning was issued in Kullu on Monday, the Deputy Commissioner of the Additional Prakash Singh received information, adding that at least 25 roads had been closed in the district.
The team of national disaster relief styles has been sent to the country for assistance work.
The Ministry of Home Affairs ensures all assistance from the center and continues to monitor the situation.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed concern over heavy rain in the state and said the center monitored the situation and all the possibilities of support extended to the state government.
“The situation in Himachal Pradesh because heavy rains are closely monitored.
