Guwahati: For the first time on Tuesday night Assam recorded zero death after more than six months of daily deaths because of Covid-19.
But what happened to the problem of worries was the daily Kaseeload of more than 300 positive patients.

The number of deaths from Covid in the state during the second wave (4,852) since April 1 this year has been four times more so that Covid fatality is reported in the first wave (1,105) from March 31, 2021 to March 31, 2021.
While the death rate in the second wave is 1 , 25%, it’s only 0.51% in the first wave.
