Chandigarh: The Haryana government has reduced VAT at gasoline and diesel prices, reducing oil prices on central government routes.
After this decision, the price of one liter of gasoline has dropped from Rs 106.94 to Rs 95.27 in the state, and Diesel to RS 86.51 from Rs 98.60.
According to official spokesman, the price of gasoline and diesel is still higher in other states compared to Haryana.
In Punjab, gasoline is Rs 105.02, in Delhi, the RS 103.97, in Himachal is Rs 96.06 and in Rajasthan.
Rs 111.10.
Similarly, the price per liter of diesel in Punjab is RS.88.76, Delhi RS.86.67 and Rajasthan RS 95.71.
On the occasion of Diwali, the center has announced a decline in gasoline and diesel prices.
Furthermore, Haryana also announced to reduce VAT in gasoline and diesel.
This step triggered a fresh accusation against the BJP-JJP alliance in power by opposition parties in Haryana.
