Bengaluru: Tharawand Gehlot will be sworn in as the 19th Governor of Carnataka on Sunday, the government said on Friday.
The Head of the High Court of Abhay Shrineewas Oka will give an office oath and confidentiality for Gehlot, 73.
Gehlot, who holds the portfolio of justice and social empowerment at the center, and is a home leader in Rajya Sabha, who has Vala, who has the Governor of State since 2014.
