Chandigarh: Government physicians, such as medical, veterinary, health and rural health officers and health care instructors, on Monday made a joint front and also declared to go on attack on June 25.
The authorities physicians are protesting against cover commission recommendation on reduction and also de-linking of all non-practising allowance out of pay.
The physicians are claiming the recommendation of pay commission will lower their wages radically.
Before, the physicians were intending to go to a strike on June 23, however following pledge of resolving the dilemma was granted by health ministry Balbir Singh Sidhu, they chased the attack June 25.
Before starting their state-wide agitation, authorities doctors institutions, such as Punjab Civil Medical Services Association, Punjab State Veterinary Officers Association, PCMS Dental Association, Medical Teachers Association, Rural Medical Physicians Association, declared to make a Frequent stage’Joint Government Doctors Coordination Committee, Punjab’.
Mature vice-president of the PCMS Association Dr Gagandeep Shergill stated that the cover commissions were constantly comprised to create a sensible gain in the wages of their workers.
“It’s possibly for the very first time once the pockets of physicians are being chosen.
That is the benefit that the government has contributed for its sacrifices made by the physicians during Covid tide,” he explained.
Association of Rural Medical Officers president Dr Jagjeet Bajwa said that the authorities must roll back the choice.
He rued that rather than rewarding the physicians for exemplary support during the troubled Covid days, the government has penalized them by reducing his or her own salary.
