Guwahati: Three little boys sank on the Brahmaputra River in Guwahati while others were still missing.
The four young men have been identified as Sheikh Dayal, Jit Das, Deep Sarkar and Abinash Das.
They are class X.
RK Hazarika, officers who are responsible for the Pandu River police, said the Dayal, JIT and Deep corpse had been found.
“Rescue operations were carried out by the SDRF team and river police.
Search operations have been called for darkness.
Rescue operations for lost children will be continued on Monday morning.
The police have restored their school bags, clothes and cellphones on the banks of the river,” he added.
The youth went swimming in the river in Pandu around 8am after finishing a college class in the Kamakhya gate area.
Sankar Das, Jit Das’s father, said, “I got a call at around 10:30 a.m.
from the locals.
The person who called me using my son’s cellphone on the banks of the river.
He said the young men were gone for a long time but their items It’s in the bank.
“The locals accused that the authorities concerned have not installed the signage board in place despite repeated appeals.
“Some similar incidents occurred before this same place.

The river police station is only a few kilometers ahead but we don’t see the river police that patrol it here,” said one of the residents.
