Chandigarh: Haryana on Tuesday reported 24 new cases, one death and 18 recovered.
Eight districts maintained Covid’s free status, while 1.79 lakh people get a vaccine jab during the day.
Gurgaon again reported the highest cases in 10, followed by four of Faridabad, two cases of each of Ambala, Yamunanagar and Palwal, and one case of each of the Panchkula, Sirsa, Rohtak and Kurukshetra.
The only death was reported from Karnal.
With this cumulative covid number of countries has reached 7,71,875 cases so far, 7.61,612 recovery, 10,055 deaths and 185 active cases.
In addition, the first dose was given at 39,347 and the second dose was given to 1,39,752 people.
The total amount of administration given is 2.96.00,012.
Covid’s positivity on the day was reported 0.08%, while the recovery rate and mortality rate was 98.67% and 1.30%.
Punjab reported 49 cases: a Covid-19 patient died while the other 49 tested the positive virus in Punjab on Tuesday.
Overall, 14 cases were detected in Ferozepur, seven in Mohali, six in Bathinda, four in Ludhiana, three in Gurdapur, Hoshiarpur and Jalandhar, two in Amritsar, Patiala and Rapar, and one in Kapurthala, Pathankot and Tarn Taran Overall, 1,18,974 individuals are vaccinated against Covid.
