CHANDIGARH: Haryana on Friday reported 463 new Covid-19 cases and 43 fatalities, taking the state’s Covid-19 tally to 7,65,096 and toll to 8,904.
Meanwhile, 97,363 beneficiaries were inoculated against the deadly infection during the day.
Now, overall count of the vaccination has gone to 64,13,099.
As 7,50,443 people have recovered from the infection, the state now has 5,749 active cases.
Notably, fatality rate during the day rose to alarming 9,28% and cumulative death rate was recorded at 1.16%.
Positivity rate was reported at 1.24%.
Seven deaths, highest for the day, were recorded from Panipat while Hisar and Sirsa reported five deaths each.
Gurugram, Bhiwani and Jhajjar reported three deaths each while Fatehabad, Kaithal, Jind and Nuh reported two deaths each and Faridabad, Sonepat, Ambala, Mahindergarh and Palwal reported one death each.
