Guwahati: Chairman of Ministers Himanta Buswa Sarma has launched an all-out battle against the threat of drugs in the state after he considers strength a few months ago.
On Wednesday while taking part in the discussion about narcotics initiated by AGP MLA Pradip Hazarika, he said, “We must end the threat of drugs in Assam.
If we can stop transiting through the state, Assam will be able to contribute significantly to control the drug in the state like Punjab.
“Previously, the minister’s chairman had conveyed controversy with a reference to Punjab while surviving threats in the region.
