Shimla: Twenty people were injured in an accident on the National Highway Parwanoo-Shimla near Jli when an apple-loaded truck drove a private bus from behind.
This is a second accident in two days.
On Saturday, a Laden Apple truck drove more than a dozen vehicles from behind along the same stretch in Kandaghat in the Solan district.
According to sources, Sunday accidents occur around midday near Jabli.
The two vehicles were raised in the accident.
A police team then reached the place and launched the rescue operation and shifted injured to the hospital.
Bus driver Ajay Kumar said that he drove his bus to Kalka from Solan.
When he reached near Jabli, he looked at the rearview mirror that came from the side of Dharampur approaching quickly towards the bus, so he also increased the speed to avoid collisions.
However, the truck hit the bus from behind.
He said the impact of the collision was such that the bus was upside down on the road and truck too.
He said 20 passengers, including 11 men and 9 women, were injured.
He said after the accident, the truck driver escaped from the place.
Based on complaints by the bus driver, a case has been registered with the Dharampur police station and an investigation.
