Shimla: About 20 passengers were injured when an excessive truck was full of apple crashing into a private bus from behind along the national highway parwanoo-shimla near Jli in the Solan district on Sunday.
This is the second accident in the last two days.
On Saturday, an Apple-Laden truck drove more than a dozen vehicles from behind along the same stretch in Kandaghat in Solan District.
According to sources, Sunday happened around midday near Jli when the truck hit a bus from behind and both were upside down on the road.
After receiving information, the police team won in place and launched the rescue operation and shifted the injured to the hospital.
Bus driver Ajay Kumar in his statement to the police said that he drove a bus to Kalka from Solan and when he reached near Jlli, he saw the rearview mirror coming from an apple truck that came from Dharampur quickly to the bus, so he also increased the speed for Avoid collisions but trucks hit the bus.
He said that the impact of the collision was so much so the bus and truck were upside down on the road.
He said that 20 passengers including 9 women were injured in the accident.
He said that after the accident, the truck driver escaped from the place.
Based on the complaint of the bus driver, a case has been registered at the Dharampur police station and further investigation.
