Shimla: Himachal Pradesh School Education Board, Dharamshala on Monday, stated the results of class X.
The total pass percentage was registered at 99.7%.
In 2019 and 2020, the percentage pass was 60.79% and 68.11% respectively.
The results have been prepared and compiled by the Board with the help of the Tabulation Committee of the School Result.
Because of the Pandemic Covid-19, annual examination, except for Hindi paper, it cannot be done this year.
After conducting consultation with all stakeholders, the Education Council develops “objective criteria” to assess students based on sustainable comprehensive evaluation (CCE).
A total of 1,16,784 students emerged for inspection, including 8.8,556 from government schools and 28,228 from private schools.
All students who meet the requirements have been promoted to the next class.
This time, 10,015 candidates received a value between 90 and 100 marks, sharp contrast from last year, when only 3,098 candidates were considered between 90 and 100.
In 2019, the number was 2,798.
Council officials said this time, a large number of candidates had benefited because all students have been declared graduated.
The percentage of pass was 99.7% of the 1,16,784 candidates who appeared in the examination, 149 candidates (0.12%) remained absent while 1.16,286 pass the exam.
They say that if the candidates are not satisfied with the award or sign given based on objective criteria, the candidates will be given the opportunity, maybe in August or September to increase their score.
After that, for example, the list of matriculation checks will be prepared.
