Vijayapura: A Muslim family allegedly threw a Hindu man to death in Karnataka and threw his body into a well in the field of agriculture in a village because he had a relationship with their daughter, police said on Sunday.
According to the police, Ravi Nimbaggi (34) was reported missing since October 21.
His family filed a complaint the following day expressing concern that he might have been killed by relatives of Muslim women.
Furthermore, three police teams were formed to investigate this problem.
This morning, the body was found in a well in Baaganur Village in the district.
The police arrested the brother of the female man and the female uncle on charges of murder, criminal conspiracy and destroying evidence.
Relatively Nimbargi Shashidhar told reporters of lovers in a relationship over the past two years.
People who were accused and their relatives on several occasions warned lovers of terrible consequences but they did not pay attention to him, he said.
