Chandigarh: Minister of Haryana Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday announced that the country’s first civil airport in Hisar District would be named after Agrasen Maharaja.
The minister’s chairman said that by naming the airport after Agrasen Maharaja, the state government had given awards in the true sense.
While describing Hisar Airport as a large project, the main minister said that the steps were consistently taken to develop it as an international airport.
He said that the integrated flight center in the district would not only play an important role in revolutionizing the civil aviation sector Haryana but would also ensure the possibility of employment in the field of air training, air handling and improvement.
Important, on September 27, 2018, the upperar airport became the first Aerodrome licensed DGCA of the country.
