Chandigarh: Haryana Director General of Police (DGP), P K Agrawal has presented a check of 65 lakh Rs to family members from Constable Sandeep Narwal, which reached the martyr during the meeting with criminals in Haridwar, Uttrakhand.
Delivering sincere condolences to mourning family members, DGP said that Constable Sandeep would long remember because of his courage and extraordinary service for the police department.
He also interacts with the next martyr and said that all possible assistance will be given to them under the Haryana police welfare scheme.
Under accidental death insurance protection, check RS 55 Lakh was accepted by Neelam, the wife of the Martyr and RS Lima Lakh respectively by Sona Devi, Mother and Krishhan, the father of COP martyr.
The COP has reached a martyr in a meeting with criminals during the attack carried out by Crime Branch in Haridwar on September 30, this year.
The others are present on this occasion include ADGP (modernization and welfare) Alok Kumar Roy, IGP (modernization) Amitabh Singh Dhillon, AIG Hamid Akhtar Welfare, Head of Banking Branch HDFC Vineet Arora, Head of Vikhar Circle, Zonal Head, Sudhir, Nodal Officer Vipin Gupta and Martyr’s family members.
This financial assistance has been provided under an accidental death insurance insurance protection agreement between Haryana and HDFC police.
