Chandigarh: Kaithal Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested a man in the case of the recruitment examination of police recruiting Haryana Staff (HSSC).
Raj Kumar, a resident of Hisar Khanda Kheri Village, first bought an answer key.
Raj Kumar was among the four people who were arrested by the Polda Kaital for the past three days.
Now, the total number of people arrested in the case in Kaital has risen to 17.
The police also confiscated the Bolero Jeep that has been seen near the examination center.
JIP is found registered in the name of a policeman’s father.
Karnal police have arrested seven people so far.
According to the police, Raj Kumar got the answer key at Jammu and Kashmir and had brought the same to Haryana and sold it to Narender, the main defendant.
Raj Kumar has sold this for the One Crore Hospital to Narender, which further grabbed an agreement with the Ramesh of Balaji Academy.
Both sell keys for candidates for Rs 12 lakh to 18 lakh.
Last Saturday, HSSC had begun to carry out a written test for police recruitment at Haryana Police.
Because the key answer test was found to have leaked a day in front of the test, HSSC had canceled the test and was announced to reschedule the same in the future.
Until now, 17 people, including Kingpins Ramesh and Narinder, have been arrested from Kaithal.
Seven people were arrested from Karnal and two of each of them from Fatehabad and Hisar.
