Bengaluru: A PUC student (17) allegedly died of suicide by shooting himself outside the Indian Air Force complex near Sadashiv Nagar, the business center district, early Friday morning.
The deceased was identified as Rahul Bhandari, a resident of RT Nagar and a military school student.
The police said that Rahul used his father, Bhagat Singh, a pistol licensed a former man.
Rahul survived his parents and an older sister.
“One bullet has entered the head of Rahul from the right side,” said Mn Anuchet, DCP, Central.
Bhagat Singh told the police that he had trained his son in dealing with a gun.
The weapon was bought in 2017 when Singh retired from service.
