Hubballi: Because the Covid case continues to surge in the Dharwad district, the Indian medical association has advanced to provide timely care for non-covid patients.
Hubballi IMA branch has opened the Summary Department Clinic (OPD) in place in Bailappanavar Nagar here.

“Initially, we will open the OPD from 4pm to 6pm every day and we will extend the timing if there is a patient’s fugitive on the coming days.
We will run the OPD until the third wave end.
We will provide drugs and other treatments needed for non-covid patients for free and will refer to symptomatic people to Inst Karnataka medicine (KIMS) for Covid tests, “said Dr.
Mulkipatil.
He said most covid patients were isolated at home and patient hospitalization were very lacking now compared to the first and second waves.
“If there is a request from the district government to handle Covid cases in a government hospital if there is an increase in acceptance, we will definitely be ready to help,” said Dr.
Mulkipatil, appealing to people to use the free opd to get timely care and also suggest To undergo a covid test if people have any symptoms.
