Hubballi: For the first time in Karnataka, Hubballi-Dharwad Smart City Limited has taken the initiative to form a community to ensure the operation and management of a troublesome City City project.
Exclusive society has been registered and it will consist of government committee and the Executive Committee.
Government Committee 13 Members will choose representatives, selected ministers and corporators and district ministers will become chairman.
Deputy Commissioner is the Chairperson of the Nine Members of the Executive Committee and representatives of the Government Department will be their members.
HDSCL’s MD is the member secretary.
Smart City officials decided to form a community to ensure proper maintenance and operation of assets made and updated under the City Smart project.
They then started legal steps and then registered the community a few days ago.
HDSCL MD CW Shakeel Ahemad said, “After the assets made and developed under SCP are discarded open for public use, it is very important to defend it.
We realize that there is an exclusive community needs that can monitor it.
If successful, our initiative will be followed everywhere .
Assets created be maintained on the basis of a lasting from their own income.

People will take the right decisions about the cost of maintenance of the revenue generated, “he said.
