Bengaluru: The government notifies the High Court that the notice was issued on Tuesday to attach the nature of the former Minister R Roshan Baig in connection with the multi-crore scams.
In a separate order on Tuesday, the government attached RS 52 Crore paid by IMA to 100 depositors above and above their principle investment.
The division bench on Wednesday directed the government to submit his response to the letter 30 June by Harsh Gupta, competent authority in connection with the attachment of the VK Obaidullah government school building where the IMA group was suspected of receiving the contribution of Rs 10 Crore.
Assets / properties marked for attachments in the government’s order have been stated by BAIG in the Affidavit of its election on April 20, 2018 and they are worth almost RS 17 Crore.
They included 33% of BAIG’s shares in a commercial building scattered at 30,217 Sqft on Jalan Hosur developed under a joint development agreement with a builder worth Rs 96.8 lakh; Other commercial buildings on Jalan Residency worth Rs 76.6 lakh; Housing property inherited in Sanders Road; Other residential properties are spread at 13,500 sqft in Cleveland Road worth around RS 3.6 Crore; 4,000 SQFT sites in the HBr layout; 5,545 Sqft Sites in Fraser Town and 1,844 Sqft Sites in Cleveland Road Worth Rs 8.9 Crore.
Another asset marked for Appendix is: RS 2 Crore in a BAIG account at Apex Bank (Vidhana Soudha Branch), Bank Corporation (Sadashivanagar Branch) and Syndicate Bank; In the name of the Electronics Baig Subi in Canara Bank (Vasanthnagar Branch) and HDFC Bank (Thippasandra) and on behalf of Sabeeha Fathima in Canara Bank, Jayanagar Shopping Complex; Equity shares worth RS 6.8 lakh owned by BAIG and Fathima in Danish Publication Private Limited, Prestige Estate Limited, Charan Co-op Society Limited, Sabiha Apparels Limited, Total Rs 6.8 Lakh.
Jewelry includes gold ornaments worth Rs 26.4 lakh and 32 kg of silver worth Rs 16 lakh.
